Descripción: Two trains for the price of one! Amtrak 48 eastbound speeds by the camera first, followed immediately by a slow-moving CSX intermodal, also eastbound. Filmed at the Rogers Rd grade crossing in Hamburg, NY on 5/11/07.
One funny thing - as soon as 48 passed, the gates started to go up and drivers began to cross, only to be startled by the gates going right back down again!

Descripción: Sometimes you're in the right place and sometime... CSX Q411-12 up first passing eastbound through Riverdale Park with an oncoming CSX Q261-12 in view about 1/2 a mile away. For some reason Q261 was going much slower than normal and Q411 is quite short. Otherwise they would have crossed paths right in front of us. At least we got a good look at both. Q411 has a nice power team with a CW60AC leader...

Lead by CSX CW44AH #5111 and a lease unit cars from Seaboard, Conrail, Chessie,B&O, and Soo Line. Note: The lease unit broke down about 10 miles down the line from here and jammed up the lines for about 3 hours, including a crew change.
