Descripcion:A small demo from Sam lok's Neak-Ta school of Pradal Serey. Pradal Serey traditionally has striking with knees, elbows, fists, kicks, headbutts, wrestling, and grappling.
Modern pradal serey has been made to fight in ring matches but traditional pradal serey is a free for all fighting hence the name Pradal Serey which means freestyle fighting.
Grappling is very similiar to the japanese Jiu-jitsu, Dr. Shinji Yamashita is Professor of Cultural Anthropology at The University of Tokyo and has even claimed that Japanese culture is very close to Khmer culture and of south east asia, which he wrote an article called South East asia home of Japan.
